Prepare to be enchanted as The Favarh Players, an inclusive theater group featuring people with and without disabilities, take center stage to present The Little Mermaid.
The unified performance promises an extraordinary experience filled with heartwarming melodies, captivating performances, and the magic of theater. The show features an ensemble of 40 actors, hailing from two esteemed nonprofit organizations: Favarh - The Arc of the Farmington Valley and Connecticut Family Theater of West Hartford. In its impressive 10th season, The Favarh Players, under the dynamic leadership of director Lori Solak, founder of Connecticut Family Theater Inc., proudly adheres to the motto, "No Boundaries. Just Possibilities." This year's production showcases the incredible talent and diversity within the ensemble, bringing together actors from Favarh individuals with disabilities, Connecticut Family Theatre members, and the wider public.
Rehearsing with dedication from October to April each year, the actors gather one night a week, investing 2.5 hours in each rehearsal to perfect their craft. Past performances have left sold-out audiences spellbound with memorable renditions of Shrek, Elf, Wizard of Oz, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin Jr., The Lion King, Jr., and SpongeBob The Musical.
Don't miss the chance to be part of an unforgettable performance where talents converge.
