A Place Of My Own

For many people living with developmental disabilities, independence means living successfully in the community. Favarh offers two independent, community-based residential opportunities: Group Home living opportunities and Supported Independent Apartment living.

GROUP HOMES Favarh's eight group homes are fully staffed, 24 hours a day, providing support to people with a high level of need. Staff supervise activities of daily living and engage residents in social, recreational and community-based activities.

APARTMENTS For people who can live more independently, Favarh leases multiple units in two affordable apartment complexes in the Farmington Valley. We support participants living in this setting with regular independent life skill support and training.

IN-HOME SUPPORTS People who are not quite ready for independent living can participate in our In-Home Supports program, in which they receive independent skills training from Favarh staff in the comfort of their own home as well as in the community.

SUPPORTIVE HOUSING New in 2021 and 2022! Two innovative supportive housing complexes that will give tenants with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) increased independence and autonomy in an integrated and safe environment.
